Hello,
Does anyone happen to know where I could get More Thrust in the US?
Also, are there any ships, that use Fleet Book rules, for the UN and the other
nations? Obviously, there are ships, but my question is whether or not anyone
has some official stats.
There is a copy of More Thrust up for auction on eBay. At least it was up
there yesterday.
BR Snasis says they have it in stock on their web page, but you probably would
want to double check. I know I had a heck of a time getting a copy of More
Thrust, found one in Canada thank to the list, and got the last copy there.

More Thrust is out of print, you might try ebay.

Plenty of *stats* floating around on the 'net. No *official* stats yet though.
Regards,
Which, by the way, is the only source of the Fighter Morale rules in the GZG
books that I have found. I agree with Oerjan, that the fighter morale rules
are essential for balancing fighters in FT. The fighter morale rules will be a
MUST to include in FT3 (whenever Jon gets arround to it).

As More Thrust is unavailable, and has info not located in the Fleet books, I
had asked Jon about it. He gave me permission to request a photocopy of the
relevant parts. In other words, can someone please send me a copy of the rules
that are not found in the Fleet books?
I will write a check to cover a photocopy and postage. However, I would be
just as happy if the rules were scanned. HTML, PDF, Word, and text formats are
just fine. I don't care how it comes (I don't have a FAX machine, though), I
just need those freaking rules.
Please respond off-list
Thanks,

I'd agree with that assertion. Of course, morale rules didn't help in the game
that I played this weekend. One squadron of KV standard fighters killed three
Phalon ships. The inability of Phalon pulsers to act as PD in all arcs unless
it is set up that way is a fatal weakness for them.
G'day,

Makes for some interesting comments too.... <no no must be good>
Its also why when fighters are about you'll see Phalon capitals down here
flying in fairly tight formation with a DD behind or on the side facing back
the other way, so that those embarrassing gaps in the arcs of protection are
covered.
It gets hairer in Phalon vs Phalon where being in tight formation can have
its down-sides too.
It can definitely make for some quite interesting changes in fighter
movement too - from "straight in" to "lets wander over here far enough
that we may possible find an exposed rear", oops aft..... I was trying to be
good wasn't I?
Cheers

Though if a single standard squadron managed to kill three ships, it sounds
like fairly small ships (frigates or smaller, with no
ADFC-equipped unit available to help out) or *really* lousy point
defence die rolls... the kind of die rolls I usually roll for my
fighters, or Indy rolls for P-torps :-/
Later,
OH NO! Run! It's another Phalon thread now... Better bring the bat squads up
to red alert.
Pardon me... I"ve been in a union training workshop all day. Fascinating
stuff, but contract law always puts me in a strange and silly mood!
