Can we expect to see some more 6mm (i.e., 1/285,1/300) infantry
from GZG? I would be especially interested in seeing some power armored
infantry. I think Dirtside II and other games at the same scale are sorely
lacking when it comes to the availability of infantry.

P.S. Who does the small scale infantry pictured in the DSII rulebook? Is it
still available?

They're the Irregular Miniatures figures, address as in the Dirtside II rules.

They don't look too bad at a distance, but the ones I have look rather
crude in style -- they do a lot of 6mm stuff and the later designs are
better. Some of the AFV designs are very good.

There are several manufacturers of WW2 and contemporary 6mm infantry which
might be a better choice. Heroics & Ros are the best, I think.
Hallmark Miniatures did some quite good pre-packaged infantry companies,

fireteams cast onto a textured base. Adler Miniatures are also advertising WW2
stuff.

But it does depend what you want. The H&R figures are rather like the stuff
GZG puts out, in that the figures have a much less chunky look than others of
nominally the same scale.

Yes, we'll be getting round to 6mm infantry soon, hopefully all the regular
and PA types from the background (yes, they WILL be recognisable...)

They are ready-based elements from Irregular Miniatures - pretty basic,
but quite acceptable from a distance, easy to paint and cheap!

Yet again I feel obliged to plug the contemporary 6mm infantry from Main Force
Miniatures, especially the Modern British. Once you've seen fireteams cast
*lying prone* on a base you start to wonder why everybody doesn't do 6mm
fireteams this way.

Look good, paint well, very *very* robust.

Note that Adler, mentioned above, are also "Dark Star" miniatures, which do
6mm versions of Denizen's 25mm range.
