At what point in the turn sequence do the fighter pilots make a moral check?

> At what point in the turn sequence do the fighter pilots make a moral Unlike some people on the list I'm going to refrain from the obvious joke (just this once....) <GRIN>!! To answer the question, we've explicitly included this in the turn sequence list in FB2 now, because it was a point that needed clarification. The rule is that the test is taken AFTER all point-defence fire against the fighter group has been resolved, but before they make their attack - so if they take any more losses from PDS fire they are even more likely to break off before completing the attack run.

---------- > Thomas and Danielle Farley wrote: > At what point in the turn sequence do the fighter pilots make a moral Assuming you mean "morale check" <g>, after enemy point defence fire but before they get to shoot themselves. This wasn't specified in MT or FB1, but FB2 does clear it up. Regards, Oerjan Ohlson oerjan.ohlson@telia.com "Life is like a sewer. What you get out of it, depends on what you put into it." - Hen3ry

GZG, Thank you for the fighter rules clairification, I was looking thru the GZG web page and found the FB2 but nowhere to order it could you send me the bookmark for the order page. Any chance in splitting up the mailing list for GZG into its components i.e.... FT / SG / DS, it could cut down the number of email that have to be sifted thru each day. ( I know I should play all three games..... I just don't have the time.) Is GZG running the 1,500 point tourney this year at Gencon, will it be using FB2 Rules? Thanks for the excelent game,

I, for one, play SG2 and FT (and hope to soon play DS2, which -- ironically -- was the first GZG game I played). > Is GZG running the 1,500 point tourney this year at Gencon, will it Yes, there is a 1500 point tournament at GenCon this year. We're still formalizing the rules, but I THINK we may just go with pre-generated fleets (but everyone will have a choice of several). The personalized fleets were a bit if a hassle last year. No, we are not using the FB2 rules. We just don't have enough time to try out new FB2 based fleets to see if they are balanced against other fleets. Also, a lot of FT players won't have the new fleet book until they get to GenCon.
