OK, a few questions to throw out:

Are HMGs considered RFAC/1s? If not, then what are they?

What's the Size Class of the USA's M1xx? 3 or 4? Gun is same size as vehicle?

For that matter, what size is the Bradley? 2?

No. RFAC/1s are 20/25mm weapons.
In DS2 they're APSWs. (See pages 13 or 35) In SG2 they don't exist.

Not sure what you're talking about.

> For that matter, what size is the Bradley? 2?

I'd say yes to Size 2.

Reverse Engineer:

RFAC-1, turreted 3
6 dismounts 6
GMS-H (TOW II) 4
Total 13

Hence, Size Class 3.

ARRRRGH! APSWs are translated into SAWs for SG2. Hrumph. Anybody got a
solution to this?

Sorry, not clear - I meant to say USA's M1A2 - lastest variant. I had
'xx'
'cause I couldn't remember latest variant numbers.

Only so far as the vehicle design rules go....

SAWs in SG2 are clearly meant to represent the equivalents to modern SAWs,
LMGs, and GPMGs. These weapons are factored into the ordinary small arms

of DS2 fireteams. HMGs are specifically mentioned as being APSWs in DS2 and
are totally lacking from SG2.

There have been threads about this in the past. Check Jerry Han's archives.
One of these days I'll get my rules (modified by several of the comments here)
on a web site, honestly I will.

In a regular DS2 game, I'd call it Size 3. In a 20th century tech only game
I'd call it size 4.

An HMG is either vehicle mounted or Tripod mounted (Range increment:12") not
troop quality. MMG impact d10, HMG impact d12. Treat it as a crew served
weapon. And you could increase it's sensor quality for one reason or another.
Also for heavy caliber weapons 'hard cover' would MUCH stricter than with the
AR's! Small trees are turned to tooth picks by a 50cal., you need a stone wall
or better to qualify for hard cover here. Does this help?

Size class of M1's and Bradleys are the same, I have read extensive complaints
about this. They are both honking big vehicles. By the way
they are a size class larger than the WARPAC tanks (T-72's etc.)
M-1's are 4 man crew vs. 3 man crew of T-72 et al.
M-1 55,000kg vs T-72 44,500kg
M-1 2.75M tall vs T-72 2.37M
etc. etc. Tom Hughes

Take your pick 4 or 5 it's all relative anyway.
