Over the years, I've asked for a lot of help from this list about painting
things. Early today, I finally purchased a scanner. And now, at long last, I
can finally show everyone what I've been talking about. I've posted a number
of pages, which are indexed at:

http://www.voicenet.com/~johncrim/Cammo.html

which highlight the various camouflage schemes that I've painted over the
years, on SGII, DSII, and FT figures from a number of manufacturers. The
pages are (obviously) graphics-intensive, and will probably take a while
to load. Sorry. If they survive at all, I'll be thumbnailing the graphics at
some point in the near future. For now, I just wanted to see what I could do
with the new machine. Let me know what you think!

Some good stuff here. Thanks!

I REALLY like the 'Elvis Camo'.

He would fit right in down here in Texas, especially carring that gun!

Hope somebody fins it useful, somehow.... As for the Elvis Camo, I might have
an actual use fr it. It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but his
cuffs and colar are coated with a kind of (very) fine glitter called
"embossing powder". It looks very impressive in person, and I though that it
might work well with some Epic scale Eldar tanks (the old style) to
represent a sort of laser-resistant finish. The first use of this
technique that I ever encountered was on an old Eldar titan, though, so that's
probably influencing me.
