Anyone know where I can latch hold of the small (I think DS2 scale but
I'm not positive - that's what I want them for) Eldar Tempest (Grav
Tank) like the Armourcast folks used to make (they made the big resin -
I don't know who made the small tank - maybe them too?). I've seen them
in 40K mags, but I have no idea how to get a hold of one (or better yet 10 or
so) to use as KV grav tanks.

(For those who wonder what a Tempest looks like - smoothed, aerodynamic
grav tank with a kind of pointed prow and a turret with a twin mount
main gun and a twin mount cupola on top - the main gun I don't know what
it was, but I assume the cupola mounted ones were shuriken cannons or some
such in the silliness of 40K).

They just look so keen in SG2 for big ass KV tanks, I'd like to get some for
my DS2 plans.... (MUHAHAHA!)

Tom.

The ones you're talking about are OOP. GW resculpted them when Epic became
Epic 40,000 to be quite unrecognizable. Good luck.

Have you checked the GW Epic 40K line? They have eldar in Dirtside size so
they should have the grav tanks.

I have a _few_ spare, but am in Australia.
They're on "permanent loan" to a friend of mine, but I'm sure if I
replaced them with the new-style ones, he'd be happy, so that's the
price.

OTOH you should be able to get them through the GW archive service in the UK,
who do foreign orders.

Feel free to e-mail me off the list.

Heard of Games Workshop? <g>

Armorcast makes/made 28mm versions of GWs 6mm tanks and titans; for
some reason GW themselves don't seem to have gotten into resin casting at all.

You're thinking of the old Tempest which went OOP when the latest Space Marine
incarnation (ie, Epic 40K) was published. However, GWUK Mail Order probably
still have the old moulds (ie, if they haven't worn out) and can cast you new
minis. It costs quite a lot, though (IIRC £6 per model, plus shipping etc).
