problem. Two folks said it was now fine and two others said my messages still
had some binary attached to it. Is the message clean or not?

That's what your message looked like. I think if anyone can see the
WINMAIL.DAT binary file, you can infer that it is present. The people who do
not see it are probably using some kind of Windows mail application that
doesn't show this information. The rest of us see it.
