The encyclopaedia is an exciting project, but could potentially swamp this
list with a lot of not 'directly' on topic traffic.

Could the project leader use a private email list
for co-ordinating the GZGE or maybe Mat (list admin) could
set one up, as we have for computer discussions.

Thanks

I'd be perfectly willing to do this. Why don't the editor's and general BoD
contact me directly, and we'll set something up.

Ooooo, I love doing a me-too!

To get this going, it was obvious that a lot of traffic on-list was
necessary. Now, it's time for the bulk of the traffic go off-list. I'd
just like to see some kind of updates, and requests for assistance, to the
list-at-large. Perhaps the Project Fuhrer...

I'm not certain what I could offer the project; limited programming skills,
writer's block that stops Mac trucks, and project management skills somewhat
tighter than Genghis Khan (contrary to popular opinion, this is a bad thing)
tend to more harm than good. However, I'm available for the
bouncing of ideas off of... (And occassional first-level proof reading;
I recognize I wrongly ended the last sentence with a prepostion.)

Have you tried Windows trucks instead?

It is now Officially OK to end a sentence with a preposition. I don't recall
who decreed this, but it was handed down somewhere in the last couple of
months. Call it English v 3.1, I guess.

Actually, I had heard this; might be we both listened to the same NPR story,
but we might be marked as liberal elite snobs. Something seldom seen
in Nebraska. ;->=

And I groaned BEFORE you mentioned Win trucks. I could see it coming when I
first wrote 'Mac trucks'.

Offer of my meager talents stands.

If it came out of an Oakland, California, U.S.A. educator, it cannot
even be called American, let alone 'English', unless pigeon-english
is the norm.
