Lower Tech Aliens for SGII

This goes back to an idea that I discussed with Allan Goodall concerning the
use of lower tech aliens Vs standard Stargrunt troop types in a colonial type
setting......Think Beau Geste in space.

I just ordered some Martian Askaris By Black Hat sold in the US by Scalecreep
minis. The reason I went with Askari instead of the more primitive Imperial
Martians was I wished to up grade their tech level to approximate earth 1920
to 40s. With their uniform and with suitable weapons changes this should work.

I plan to use these guys as low(er) tech indigenous natives, insurgents, and
mercenaries.....Should get allot of use out of them. The other thing about
aliens set in the equivalent of our early 20th century is I get to kit bash
tanks etc. that I already have
on hand.....)

I'll probably get some of the Imperial Martians later to be used as tribal
auxiliaries, scouts etc. I still need to order the FSE Colonial Legionnaires
(in kepis of course) from Jon......)
