Speaking of which: I have determined to my
satisfaction that there are no 1/48 scale Marder I A3
(the Bundeswher IFV, not the Whermacht tank destroyer) models available
anywhere in Central Texas.
I am now FREAKING DESPERATE and will do whatever is necessary to secure 4 of
these items.
Can ANYONE who can secure 1 or more 1/48 scale Marders
please contact me off-list. I would prefer to get
them from people in the States to keep shipping costs under control, but if
necessary I will import them from whereever you can find them.

This seems to indicate there isn't much in this form..

Revell seems to have one in 1/35.

The Chinese made kit of the Marder in 1/48 is, IIRC, by Zhengdefu (or
something very like it - this is from memory only).
I've seen them from a couple of retailers in the UK, at about 5 UKP each;
I'm sure someone in the US must import/stock them too.

Unfortunately they take neither credit card nor check. And only have 2 in
stock. Will take it if I can't find a better, though.

You are using them for Wargaming right? Get one and cast it in resin.
A local hobby store here says that ARII (in Japan) makes a 1/48
scale remote-control Marder, stock # AR900, but they don't know
if they can order it.
