Subject: Looking for 15mm figs

Anyone out there know of any figure manufacturers who 15mm figs have close
bearings to:

Storm Troopers (ala Star Wars) Minbari (B5) Narn (B5) Centauri (B5)

I know it's predominantly a 25/28mm world out there, but I'm holding
out hope to find figs that would adequately pass muster for the above genre of
infantry (already figuring to use GZG NAC for Human
GROPOS :-).

For Centauri (B5) you can use 15mm Franco-Prussian War
Bavarian Line Infantry with very little weapon modification.

I admit I never watched B5 but this is too weird to ignore.
Franco-Prussian
Bavarians??? Were the rest of the militaries similar? Gracias,

The Centauri "Outwardly" look human and ware a retro Napoleonic outfit in
their civil and military dress. From the illustrations in the
GROPS book the Franco-Prussian Bavarians look about right.

The Narns are a slightly reptilian/Klingon mix without the hair....)

The Minbari are High Elves with small ears set on their jaw line and a bony
crest on their heads.....)

Yeah, I've also got some of these I'll put up for sale 'real soon'. ;->=

I'd have to say the MM's are difficult to use w/ 15mm's; generally, I've
always called them 20mm's, or near-true-25mm's. Some of you may recall
discussion of a use with West End's rules that included a downsizing
conversion to cm's.

I'll be describing them as small scale alternatives to use with the new SW
miniatures rules.

Most stand moderately comfortably on 1/2" squares, which give an area a
quarter that of standard maps, good for REALLY BIG(tm) battles and play on
small surfaces. I'll resist calling them the travel version, though.

I'd have to include the adhesive magnets...

Go and join the 15mm SF list (15mmSciFi @ yahoogroups). There's quite a
campaign going to get 15mm models made in a 300-club kind of way, and
not-Stormtroopers and not-clone troopers are certainly on that list
along with not-rebels. There is a sculptor and manufacturer already
lined up, although very few of the mooted designs have got anywhere near

the magic figure for production to start (I think the level is 200 packs

of 4 figures).
