The good news is that the job offer I've been waiting for the last 18 months
has finally come through. The bad news is they want me NOW! I'll probably be
leaving town next week and then be out of touch for the next several
months due to training/ moving/ etc. Not much time for gaming, net-stuff
and
so forth, so I'll be un-subbing from the list in the next couple days or
so. (I've got one or two other things I want to post first, including a
summary of my PBeM game.)
I've really enjoyed the list and hope to rejoin it at some time in the future
when things slow down a little. Until then...may all your repair rolls be
sixes!

I know this is probably noise on the list, but I wanted to say I personally
will miss you on the list. I may not post much, but I am a
great lurker! I will especially miss those sig line comments/definitions

You're leaving??? Geez, now who am I going to bounce my hair-brained
schemes off of? Well, don't look at it as a departure from the list--
Think of it as a chance to get a REAL ISP:). Where are you moving to? If it's
near Chicago, let me know so I can blast you into your component atoms and
scatter them across the stars. We could even play a game of Full Thrust, too.

<grin> Glad you like them. They're from a book called "the Cynic's
Dictionary" by Rick Bayan (ISBN 0-688-12922-6). It was the first gift my
then-girlfriend ever gave me, so of course I HAD to marry her! :-)
