Wow.... you're kidding....
In addition to my normal suppression from casualties, I take ANOTHER for
leader loss? I can't say as I've ever noticed that, but it could be so. Do I
also have to do a re-org to appoint a new leader? If you had to do both,
you'd sure be penalized (in addition to the confidence issues.....). Not
saying it shouldn't be bad, just that I too am a little vague (don't have my
rules handy, haven't played since GZG ECC) on this part of things.
When I saw people making comments about having Mark on their side (based off
my sig), another classic Latin line came to mind: "Et tu, Mr.Rutherford?"
<Okay, that wasn't exactly what Caesar probably said, but you get the idea...>

It's buried in the rules. I just blundered into it two days ago when I
completely read the leader replacement rules.

No. It appears that the suppression marker represents the confusion of having
to find a new leader.
What I'm not sure about is what quality roll do you use for morale loss when a
leader dies? I think the rules for leader replacement say something like a
leader casualty is replaced "immediately", which I interpret to mean things
happen like this: casualties are inflicted, a new leader is chosen (roll for
leadership level change), roll for morale effects. Now, of course, you add
another suppression marker, too.
I haven't had it happen, but you should also keep track of the old leadership
value, just in case you roll for the leader casualty and the leader is alive
and okay.

Nope, no need to re-org. The new leader is chosen automatically. If the
quality drops, you MAY want to re-org to see if the leader is okay.
