Additional Fighters/Missiles comments with how our group plays:
Screening fighters with the ship in the Move Ship phase.
Fighters may enter/leave screening mode ONLY in the Move Fighter Groups
phase. MT missiles move in the Launch Salvo Missile Phase.

We use the fairly common house rule that fighters can move 1/2 normal at
launch.

Our group allows fighters to engage in combat on the turn they are launched.
In FB fighter launches are moved to the Fighter Movement phase (FB p.8 states
that launching fighters must be moved before other fighters). We also allow
launching fighters to immediatly go into screening mode.

At GZG-ECC last year a gentleman used 6 earing posts through or on a
washer. Then each fighter had the earing clamp (receptical) on it. Fighters
could be removed and it seemed to work well. I don't remember his name, but he
is the person closest to the camera in this picture:

If I recall, they were Keith Watt's innovation. Keith is in the photo that
Brian referenced, but he's at the far end of the table, wearing a white shirt.

The person closest is Aaron Teske, and he has fighters that are removable from
not only their base, but the carrier, too.

Keith Watts is the gentleman Jon refers to above.

The person between Aaron and Keith is our own John Aktinson.

The gentleman in the dark t-shirt...I don't remember his name.

And *I*, I am off-camera, where the paper and brown die bag are on the
left, the focus of attention from both Aaron and John....

Ack!

A nifty effect, but a leeeetle hard on the drilling hand when done all in one
night. I hate it when I get blisters from the pin vise....

[in the back, since I snipped the ref....]
