Now before i start i may have the values wrong. But as the POD launcher is the
same mass as the Womb why not have a pod type of say fighter POD which can be
launched as per the earlier posts, takes 1 whole turn to create costs 7 bio
mass, 6 for fighters and 1 for POD casing and costs 12 points of power, 6 for
the fighters and 6 the next turn to launch the pod of fighters 24 mu which
then sheds its fighters for normal movement.

I hope someone is collecting all of the alternate pod ideas. It would be nice
to have one place (Sa'Vasku Central?) to find all of the various pods people
have thought up and are using.
Ah but thats the point it has to be balanced in some way otherwise it would be
a bit too powerful. However it would be usefull when you are being swarmed by
fighters and don't have any brood ships.

Well, I'd though of something similar (is your concept based on a certain B5
episode perhaps? mine was) But looking at the FB2 pod descriptions I note that
all pods were 1 biomass, so IMHO the standard pod launcher can only fire 1
biomass pods.
I did consider, however, a super-pod-launcher concept that could fire
the 7 biomass fighter pods you described, as well as other extra-large
pods - didn't develope it further, but it could be the sa'vasku
equivalent of 'super weapons' like the Nova cannon and Wave gun.
