I wouldn't allow anything larger than a class-1 beam to fire in a SG
battle, as the scale is wrong for the larger weapons (beams used as artillery
from
orbit are about 10-12" radius barrages).
But for those obscene enough to want to use them in SG: PDS: Superior ADS
(class 2 laser instead of class 2 RFAC vs point targets). Only 1 PDS can be
used against a single missile attack (due to arc restrictions etc).
Class-1: class 5 Laser with basic firecon (not designed for tracking
ground targets)
Class-2+: class 5 laser using artillery rules (Impact is GP: d12x5*, 10"
radius) Pulsetorpedo: class 5 DFFG using artillery rules (Impact is GP:
d12x10, 10" radius) Salvo missiles: use nuke rules from Dirtside. In SG, the
entire battlefield would be obliterated.

When firing at FT scale ships in SG, how about: Screens: not allowed in
atmosphere (PSB: they react badly with atmosphere or are unstable) The range
band is always treated as point blank (d4) with no ECM (d4). Any hit against a
ship is resolved against armour 5. If a x1 penetration occurs, the ship loses
1 point of hull (or armour), a x2 or better penetration gives 2 points of
damage. Also, all attacks can instead be resolved against specific visible
targets (similar to needle beams). The effective size class of the target is
equal to the mass of the system (ie: PDS is size 1, Pulse torp is size 4) and
is resolved against armour 5. x1 penetration disables the system, x2 or better
penetration disables the system and inflicts 1 point of hull damage.
