Pardon me for taking this in a different tangent, but one thing I wondered is
what are Kra'vak ground forces like?

Are they considerably higher tech than the equvalent human forces? As such
would the humans be considered low tech in comparision?

I know Bugs don't surf will probablly sort this out, but as of the moment I'd
like to know what everyones opinions and ideas for playing Kra'vak ground
forces has been.

I had come across Karla's Kidnap. This link doesn't seem to be working. No
server address. Any ideas?

FWIW, I have always thought of them as using a lot of light and medium grav
vehicles with MDCs. When using MDCs, no real point in really big vehicles, as
they'll get shredded too easily.

Rob Deakin has done a lot of detailed and careful research and come up with a
quite good structure. We've played a few games against Kra'Vak ground forces
and they seem to work reasonably well.

You can find the details here

Who created that site? It is quite frankly the best FT site I have seen in
quite a while. Anyone who has any interest in running a campaign in the FT
universe has to check it out!

It just goes to show how easy it is to miss things on a busy mailing list.

Pardon the fawning, but I was more than pleasantly surprised by this.

I don't know about anyone else, but I could access the 'karla's kidnap' story
fine (nice read!). I wasn't ever able to access the above URL, though.

He certainly has. Its a wonderful resource.

The above link works folks. The original posting read netscape rather than
netspace. Go there now.
