Hello: While paging through Tom Granvold's list of Starship Games and Minis, I
discovered that someone had the common decency to put Knight Hawks, the old
TSR space combat game for the Star Frontiers RPG, online. Not only that, they
also put the RPG online as well. SF was the game that originally got me into
gaming. Although in retrospect, it background and tech is kind of campy, I
still has a soft spot in my heart. The URL for the rules page is:
http://www.tower-ravens.org/starfrontiers/rules.htm
Is the url correct, I cant seem to get it.
Thanks

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! THE BASTARDS CLOSED DOWN THE SITE!!!! I
didn't get a chance to save the HTML files!!!
Please someone tell me that they downloaded a copy?
I don't suppose anyone ever came up with a conversion for this to FT? I tried,
but I like the stuff in FT more, so I ended up starting a conversion the other
way:) Nothing like a few pulse torpedoes to discourage those pesky Sathar
destroyers from closing in:)

Notice to all the SF fans:
I talked to Tower-Raven games, (they were here for Conduit 8 last
weekend). The site is currently down for modifications as they are producing
thier own game now, (Called "Universe") and will be posting beta tests and
such on the site. They too were dissapointed when T$R dropped SF and began
writeing, first thier own scenerios, then a game. I've played "Universe" and
it is not anything like the SF game, though you can see the influances. They
hope to
have the site back up by mid- June, so keep the url. Also if anyone is
interested, do a web search on "Star Frontiers" and you'll find quite a few
pages dedicated to it on the web. T$R really lost out when they dumped this
one, they had a large and loyal following.
