Hey all:

I curious if anyone can give me a capsule review of Jon's Landmate style
Heavy Power Armour Suit from the Animetals line (GZ-05A & B). I think
that there were images on the GZG www catalog site at one time, but they're
long gone.

Did you look through the *Here* link for the older images? I'm not certain
it's what you want, but take a look at:
http://www.gzg.com/oldimages/gz-1.jpg

Drop the 'gz-1.jpg' for the whole directory.

Having a mature moment; I can't place the term Landmate, though bells are
a-ringin'.

By the way, Mark, would you interested in comments on out-of-date items
on the Unofficial FT site? I know it can be hard to keep up with some of the
changes.

Easily solved. Just promise a specific release date. We all know the actual
release date is 2d6 months after that. Plus rerolls on the 6's, of
course. Case in point--my new site was *supposed* to be done last
January.

G'day,

If you mean the actual appleseed "rabbit eared girl and chick" (sorry anime is
Derek's thing) then there's a pic of one set of the figs on our site.

Go to the following url and then hit the miscellaneous link, the pic in
question is the 5th thumbnail down the page down the page.

Derek's got the others as well and they're all very nice figs, unfortunately
no pics.

Cheers

Okay, here's hoping I'm not spamming the list with HTML or anything... I'm in
Kobe, Japan for a while (1 month or maybe longer) so have to read my mail via
yahoo.	(Whee....)

Actually, that's Deunan (the chick ^_- ) and Briarios,
if I remember my spelling correctly, who is certainly
*not* a girl. (Though Jon did/does make some
girls-with-guns who have rabbit-eared comm headsets
on.)

While Bri is a cyborg in Appleseed, the landmates are different. I have both,
though not assembled or painted (and back in New Jersey); from what I
remember, they are a bit "stiff" in posture. IIRC, the last time this question
came up Jon said he was
looking to get them re-sculpted some time, they are
actually some of the oldest minis in his current production. (Or something to
that effect.)

Unfortunately there isn't a Guges model in the range, it's the simpler version
of the Landmate (please correct me if I'm wrong)

They are nice though - this is 25mm Power Armour the way it should be!
(or maybe an Infantry Walker if you're more restrained)

So hit up the 100 Club when they get back on track. I'd order a few..;)
