Great job, so when are their stats for Stargruntgonna show up on the page.:)

I saw those figures once and didn't like the look, but after seeing them
painted, I figure I need to get some!

I've always figured Bogies had a devil-may-care attitude but strong
motivational leaders (low motivation when out of sight of force leader, high
otherwise), low durability under stress (D6 armour), only light slow power
armour, and a tendency toward high firepower low impact weapons. They are
poor in close combat, but well-armed, which offsets them back to a
quality die on close combat.

Eventually. Very, very, very eventually.... ShockForce stats will come first,
I'm afraid.

Fortress' stuff tends to look pretty horrible on their website, but painted
up it looks fantastic. Their 1/300 scale tanks, soon to be re-released,
are some of my all-time favorites...and you can't beat the price. I
have a picture of two of the tanks on my Desert Camo page, but it's a pretty
bad picture, and doesn't do them any justice.

Just remember, if you DO get Fortress figures, you need to prime them with
spraypaint. Otherwise, acrylics just puddle right off.

I've got two different version of them in mind, to be honest. The ShockForce
version is the significantly less serious of the two; although the Stargrunt
version ain't all that much better.... This is all of the top of my head, but:

Basic troopers have 8"/2d8 movement, d6 armor, and generally low
motivation
(especially when being fired on) but are very quick to rally -- if the
danger isn't immediate, it just isn't real to them. But when the enemy is in
sight, they must make a confidence check to do ANYTHING other than retreat or
hide. In close combat, they will instincitvely gang up on the
enemy -- never less than 3 Bogies on a single opponent. Their jumppacks
give them a one-time-only movement of 24", although they tend to scatter
(using the drop troops rules) when landing.

I think that the powered armor is big enough to be considered Heavy, although
it's definately Slow as well. And I see their rifles pretty much the same way
you do: Firepower of 3, Impact of d6 or d8. And I'm not even sure that I want
to touch the idea of SGII stats for the Smartbomb.

Yeah. I've got some of their old 1/300 APCs. 20 APCs for $10, great
detail, nice character. And the plastic is really nice - not so soft
that it bends, not so hard that it cracks when you carve and drill it.

It might be a GMS with D4 fire control that is unaffected by EW and can be
launched from beyond line of sight. This Bogie is told it's neat to ride a
rocket and away he goes, but when he starts looking for a landing pad, all
he's over is enemy armour.

The tank destroyers are my favorites. And the plastic is soeasy to wrok with,
it spoils you. It took me no time at all to carve off the main gun
and replace it with a simple AA gun. And according to some e-mail that
I recieved from them, they are planning on expanding the line when the bring
the old figures back into produciton. For a while, they had a picture of
this gigantic Ogre-sized hover vehicle on their page, under "Coming
Soon", but I still don't know when it will be released.
