Hi everybody,

I'm off on vacation for the next week, so I won't be making any updates
to either the GZG-L Mailing List Web Archives, or the GZGPedia Test
Site.
I hope to see a bunch of you at GZG-ECC II, in one week.

Take care everybody, and see you in a week and a bit.

Later,

Jerry,

I guess this will come under the heading of 'thing to do when you get home.'

For your consideration.

Bye for now, John L.

I this suggested list be worked by Jerry, Nyrath, and the
person/group doing the the power/s involved.

The following locations need to be placed on the map, if this has not already
happened:

> From the MT timeline.

1) 2183 - Lagos IV system - off the Pan African rim.
suggest: CD 65'599 (5 0'clock from lowest PAU star.

2) 2184 - Angel II system - near the NAC
suggest Sm24 - 8pm from Kravak coreward incursion arrow

3) 2185 - Sulaxar system - near the NAC and ESU
suggest GJ2147 - east of the NAC and ESU 'arrowhead points east'

4) 2186 - Caleb system - a system inportant to the ESU
suggest - Caleb if it exists, or CP-45'10150

5) 2187 - Rheinhold system - Rot Hafen ?

6) starbase 13 - unidentified NAC system close to FSE
suggest - CD-23'332 just below the swiss flag on the map

7) 2133 - Bretonneux, Doullens, Compville
suggest three current systems have these names added.

8) - Stig iV - unknown

> From the FT timeline.

1) 2096 - New Isreal @ Epsilon indi system

2) 2098 - LLAR moves to Santa Rico in the LLAR

3) 2099 - Albion settled in the NAC

4) 2127 - Nova Moskva in the ESU

5) 2132 - Chi Dracones VII - NAC and ESU clash.

6) 2163 - New Riyadh in IF area

7) 2173 - SUMANI IV incident - NAC and ESU reps killed by IF
suggest a system in/near the IF area

8) 2176 - Non human items on rim world in Indonesian space.

I feel that the inclusion of these locations is important in tying these
locations to the map and giving new players a means by which they can get a
'feel' for the background.

Crap. Was terrorist incident who's perpetrators were never identified, which
suggests a 'neutral' system between the two, and far away from obvious
suspects (like IF). This sounded to me like a bomb under the table, not a
space cruiser with beams flashing.

John, The failure to identify the IF attackers only applies to the
NAC and ESU. The players know it was the IF.
The success in hiding the identity of the attackers infers the investigation
was in an area controlled by the IF and therefore the authorities were not
able to determine the identity of the attackers, because they already were
aware of the identity of the attackers. Is it not easier to hide the person
resposible for the crime if the responsible person is doing the invertigation
of the crime? I am quite certain that all suggestions as far as locations will
be given due consideration should this request be acted upon.

Be advised Rot hafen takes palce in summer 2183 and is not to be confused with
Rheingold, (which I didn't even no about until recently.) It is possible for
me to change the date, it 2183 sticks in people's
craws...

Duh.

Nonsense. Lots of terrorist actions don't get properly identified for decades.

> authorities were not able to determine the identity of the attackers,

What? You're saying that the NAC and ESU negotiators went to an IF planet (!)
and then when their top diplomats get blown up, they let the IF run the
investigation? Neither one is consistent with leadership any more rational
than Caligula. No one in the GZGverse is brilliant all the time, but neither
should we assume they are idiots.

'LET' is hardly an option. The best the NAC and ESU can do in
this situation is OFFER to assist the IF authorities in the invertigation.

I've already suggested some possibilities for this one to Nyrath.

And the Islamic Federation hosts the conference, blows up the diplomats,
refuses NAC and ESU access to the crime scene, and the best thing they can do
is to assume the other did it?

I presume you're not as stupid as you assume the NAC/ESU are, or you'd
be incapable of finding the on switch on the computor. In fact, nothing this
remotely stupid has been done in the history of stupid. This goes beyond
stupid. This is stupid to nth power. This is stupid so dense and compressed,
this is neutronium stupid.

I much prefer Laserlight's version of events.

XXX Not at all, if the NAC and ESU want to see the place, just fine. Guided
tours, when the building is safe (sanitized), are granted to any and
all who show the slightest interest in the event. These persons are
taken everywhere, shown everything, touch many things, and generally allowed
to destroy evidence everywhere they go. And after the Dog and Pony, show even
more evidence is collected!! And you need to ask why each thinks
the other did it? JTL
