Hello

Some time ago I had enquired about a modern German tank destroyer prototype
with a missile launcher on an elevating platform. I now have found a picture
at:
http://www.jed.simonides.org/tanks/lima/leopard1_series/panther/panthe
r-intro.html

The site
http://www.jed.simonides.org/jed1.html
has an interesting collection of pictures of tanks and vehicles from various
times and places. Unfortunately, only the alphabetic search
works - click on the lettered buttons on the page.

Greetings

Wow, it looks like a Leopard 1 A5 (it appears to have the upgraded cast

picker/hammerhead combo. Good for elevating above a stand of trees or
even over intervening terrain. I like the concept.

I take it you're happy to see Java run ok for once? It seems to work well for
me. I usually have problems on my OS X box with some Java type sites and IE 5
coughing up fur balls.

Interesting. Too bad they don't give any more info about it (at least I
can't find any) - I couldn't find any mention of it in any of the old
Jane's publications at work :-(
