One alternative, that I prefer, is: 1 MASS (FT:FB) = 50 Capacity Points (DSII) This means that aerospace fighters are about size 6 (DSII). These aerospace fighters are big in comparison to most DSII land vehicles, but not as big as most scoutships in FT:FB. A 6 fighter group massing a total 6 MASS is a similar point value, size and crew requirements as a 6 MASS scoutship. If it's assumed that practical land vehicles range from size 1 to size 10, and that practical starships range from 10 MASS to 100+ MASS and are similar to sea going ships, then most big aerospace vehicles and most interface landers would fit in the space from size 10 to 10 MASS. So, if it's assumed that size 10 equates to 1 MASS and size 100 equates to 10 MASS, then 1 MASS holds 50 capacity points and aerospace fighters are about size 6 (DSII). This also means that 6 MASS could hold the equivalent of: 37 Humvees or jeeps (size 1), 18 M113 APCs (size 2), 12 Bradley MICVs (size 3), 9 M60 tanks (size 4), 7 M1 tanks (size 5), 6 aerospace fighters (size 6) or 5 big 'mecha (size 7). In practise, even though 37 jeep equivalents fit into the 6 MASS, I would limit the number to 24 size one or sub-size one vehicles, as the jeep's crew would be more of a concern.
