Hi Guys,

Is Needle Beam Damage Repairable?

The rule book doesn't state if needle beam damage is repairable, but the
orginial FT2 rule book says that systems nocked out by needle beams is treated
just as if it had failed a threshold check, which implies that it is
repairable, but that was before damage control crews...

No, it isn't. Systems knocked out by needle beams are assumed to be reduced to
junk, and need pulling and replacing at a shipyard or other repair facility.

To add chapter and verse to the official response:

More Thrust p. 6: "Note that Damage Control parties may NOT attempt to repair
structural hull damage (ie: lost Damage Points), nor may they repair any
system taken out by Needle Beams or other 'selective' weaponry"
