Thanks, Laserlight. I'll look for this stuff before I launch any insane
projects... I've just secured a house-sitting job for the whole winter,
so I'll have a basement and a garage to make a mess in!

Does Sintra have any other names, or a generic material name? You never know
what's going to change when you look for a product in another country...

Sintra is a PVC closed-cell foam used by graphics/sign shops, made by
Alusuisse; I would imagine that someone makes a competing/generic
product but I can't think of any names.

according to this, the name of the product is Rigid PVC Foam board. It look
like you can shape this platic easily with hot water.
