Tomb comments: Earlier this year, during the ESU Assault on New Providence (a colony primarily occupied by fisherfolk from the East Coast of the US and Canada, with a few English and Scots fisherman thrown in) featured (as its third engagement) a Stargrunt battle in which the ESU raiders tried to take the starport to secure a spacehead and to give the assault troops a way out. During the battle, a large tank (HO railroad water tank) filled with volatile fuel ruptured, exploded, and caused a rather large amount of damage to surrounding structures, people, etc. This wasn't _quite_ as effective as I'm sure the defending NAC/NPM forces wished.... they ended up (by bad die rolls) having to fire a lot of rounds from SAWs, HMGs, and other weapons to perforate the tank, then after the fuel had spilled (used a nice felt "oil slick"), one of their snipers with a laser sniper rifle _finally_ rolled good and set it off. The ESU were not happy. This was well summed up by General Sarno in his reply to the ESU offer of a surrender opportunity. He said "Get your ass back to Eurasia!". His valiant militia and the few NAC marines present fought hard to make this directive stick, and were credited with an overall victory in the campaign.
