[IFWG] stands for the Islamic Federation Working Group. That's me,
Noam, and Laserlight. I'll use it to mark posts dealing with GZG Future
History as it applies to our development of the IF and it's various enemies.:)

I've taken my timeline, added in Noam's modified New Israeli timeline, and the
timeline we've worked out for New Jordan.

Bye for now, John L.

Well gentlemen (by the way, are there any ladies on the list. Just curious)
perhaps 'tis time for all the smaller powers to band together in our common
interest, in the face of the threats of the larger powers,

and the Kra'Vak invaders. I have appreciated the forwarding of details on
ships available for purchase, especially in light of the approaching war
between the NCS and NAC over certain smuggling incidents. Posts (and hopefully
fiction) on those will follow as soon as I figure out how

to use FT-MAP. Anyway, would it not be reasonable for our future
histories if we formed a sort of centralized clearing house for dates,
details, etc, to maintain internal consistency. I've been reading Los' fine
Rot Hafen story, seems that the NCS, being out on that particualar rim, would
have a vested interest in joining such actions.

Any thoughts??

Sounds like a good idea to me, so count me in.

Nyrath the nearly wise is trying to find a couple of systems for the FCT to
live in. When we last chatted, he found one good star system and was looking
for a couple more.

A couple of things that need to be figured out:

Why did Austin and Fenris split from the NAC?

What is the current extent of FCT power?

Who are they allied with and set against?

Volunteering my services for the FCT cause,

Nathan (native and current Texan)

to hold three systems as of 2183.

Thank you Nyrath. JTL

> A couple of things that need to be figured out:
XXX Suggested order:

1)> Who are they allied with and set against? This in large part will
determine the history of the FCT. Suggestions: 1 The FCT has a French attitude
about weapons sales to other powers. (Basically, sell to anybody.) 2 Is the UN
really all goodie two shoes, or have 'incidents' happened the the UN will not
acknowledge. 3 The FCT is a good deal like the Swiss, well armed and organized
in defence of its territory. 4 Good to excellent relations with the NAC New
Tasmania, and smaller colonies with roughly similar origins. 2)> Why did
Austin and Fenris split from the NAC? Many possibilities here. Options: 1
These worlds are what is left of the FCT after the UN 'took control' of the
core systems.
                   2 Taxes
3 At some point the worlds were left without NAC support during some war, and
when the NAC came back they were told: You left us during the war and we have
decided we don't need you now!. 3)> What is the current extent of FCT power?
As a minor power the FCT would like have an agressive exploration policy and
more than likely would not share much of the information it gained with major
powers and UN types. So, the actual extent is not known at present. Additional
colonies may exist: such as Bridgers worlds, a system with two habitable
planets and currently
a focal point of interest of the Kra'Vak, another alien race/s
as yet unknown in human space, and the FCT. JTL

for the FCT. JTL

At least at first, the Encyclopedia Galactica(GZG) could be mostly a giant
collection of links - all the various offical and unoffical background
sources out there, on one page. As it evolves, it could incorporate
purpose-written stuff and maintain the links as well.

No need to do it all at once...(no way to do it all at once, in fact...too
much of the unoffical background stuff is in a state of constant
evolution/mutation/whatever)

What is this "Three Star System Power" fetish? I have three, New Israel has
three (not counting Tzfat, und IF occupation), RH, IC, LLAR have three each.
I'll have to send out scouts looking for new real estate. (Speaking of which,
Any Day Now there will be a good description of the Alarishi home system up on
my fledgeling new website at

Just submit your order and I'll see what I can do. I appologise for not
getting more done over the
week-end, I was at the Battlefleet Gothic demo.

I need to know any limitations you have on location, basically what other
nations are the NCS near?

I'm going to have to increase the radius of "Known Space" past 10 parsecs,
I've run out of good stars to assign.
