Hmmm, I think we need to reduce that grin to at least a smirk. Has anyone got the formula for working out vector movement (preferably in excel, but I'll take the old pen & paper route)? The old school texts I've got haven't helped for this. If someone can help me out with this, I'll be able to run my EFSB scenario that I've had in the works. :-) Just for you Mike, I'll include a Narn Heavy Cruiser (to be shot at...) :-} 'Neath Southern Skies http://users.mcmedia.com.au/~denian/ ********************* Mary had a little LAM, It's thrusters all aglow; And everywhere that Mary went, The 'Mechs were sure to blow. > -----Original Message-----

It definitely won't be safe for the Centauri in California now that the Narn have moved in. It sounds like the Warleader is ready to launch an E-mine or two. Welcome back Mike.

Nothing yet! (at least that I can say aloud...) I'm thinking about finishing up my "Generic Fleet" counter sets. Only the Domination of K'Kon is done right now. Next would be the Mantax Autarchy and the Jhi'Dki Alliance... > -----Original Message-----

For anyone who doesn't know about it, Starcontrol is this space strategy game from years ago that has developed a cult following for all sorts of reasons. Accolade publish the series. It has a fine game universe, with lots of interesting happenings going on. It had vaguely occurred to me at one point to try and do an FT battle using Star control ships but I decided FT was probably a bit too sensible for the type of combat involved. For instance one of the alien race ships (The pkunk) had a special power of insulting their opponent in order to damage them in some way. I wonder how many A batteries an insult is worth...
