I didn't do the work myself, but my con-game Aliens look great with a simple drybrush of dark grey. That's 25mm, not 15mm, but I'd think it'd still work, just be gentle. ;->=

I dunno, I'm gonna have that problem with mine, I was thinking that I could spray them black, then using a very wet green drybrush pick out all the detail in green, get a nice eggshelly varnish effect, maybe paint the teeth with a gloss cote with a bit of drool. But mine will be 30mm so I don't know whether that would work (for either scale) I look forward to other people's suggestions

I did 'em like this: Primed black, Drybrushed white, Inked with a mixture of black and purple, And then, *really lightly*, drybrushed with a little white again. This picture's a little grainy, but you can see the effect:

It's pretty subtle, but it gives a bit of an iridecsant, incestish look to them. An off-white drybrush brought out some more details, and the teeth were done white as well. After dullcoting, the bugs got a gloss medium coat to bring back that slimy, gleaming look we know and loathe. Forty-odd of the evil critters painted up basically in an evening. One of these eons I'll post my homebrew Aliens rules...
