I think the appropriate response here should be; "absolutely!"

There are a bunch of people on and off the list that have made noises about
making their own HH ships. (myself included) I for one would love to see
somebody with more talent (and presumably time) than myself do the work.

I am sure that this has been asked over and over, but I am just getting into
this series. I know conversion rules abound, but can anybody tell me where I
can get "official" images of the ships and if anyone has
tinkered together models/minis of them?

Thanks,

Eli

The only ones I'm aware of are inside the novels themselves (War of Honor
being the best resource)

Try here:

http://www.starshipmodeler.com/contest/scratch_23.htm

Not something that is really usable for a Full Thrust game, however. I am also
not sure I agree with the design, as the "front" and "back" of the
impeller wedges are supposed to be different sizes -- so shouldn't the
front be larger (or the rear smaller) to show that? I also envisioned much
more of a "Hammerhead" shape (as in the shark), instead of the bulge on each
end.

However, it is based on the drawings in the front of the latest books...

kind of a take it or leave it thing. <shrug>

'Til later,

I came across this picture somewhere in my wanderings:

http://www.wombatzone.com/images/hh-shipsizes.jpg

I can't remember where I found it, and could not find it on the web when I
went looking for the site last night, but I did save a copy. No surface

detail, but it does give you a good feel for the sizes of the ships.

Well, there were drawings inside the books too that showed various ship sizes
and profiles. Most are very similar, just scaled up.

Quite a bit bigger than the Full thrust ships. The general distance in the
future makes them amazingly big considering all the things they're able to do.

Thanks for the info, but the link doesn't seem to be working.
