I found this little gem tooling around the net.
A scratch-built Star Wars Imperial hovertank
made from an old computer mouse! Since I love scratch and kit bashing ask John
A (when sober) he'll tell you all you want to know..... It shows you that
anything can be used to make an outstanding model.

This whole site is well worth checking out; it's got some of the best scenery
techniques I've seen, and it's all very well laid out. Very cool

I'll have to link to it soonest from my page!
Brian,
It is indeed the sort of site I can spend vast amounts of time looking over.
Your right about the scenery techniques! I see a few things I intend to try
out.

Oh, now that's pretty. Anyone elese remember GW's Deodorant Stick Grav Tank?
Becuse of that article, I've got a box full of plastic containers of various
sizes downstairs, waiting for inspiration to strike. I might actually have a
mouse or two, for that matter.
Schoon made one many years ago. It looked pretty good too.

I threw away my collection of deodorant sticks when I moved last year!
*L* I
had the same idea. Never did anything with them, though, which was a pity.
One of the things I really like about this list is that someone can say
something like this - admitting to having a *collection* of deodorant
sticks - with a straight face, and *know* that everyone else in the
group understands what they mean and why, and won't look at them oddly...
