Hi good people of the list,
Finally taking the plunge into some 15mm Stargrunt instead of playing
it with 25mm Warzone/40K proxies..
But alas... I don't seem to be able to find any groundmounted weapons for 15mm
?!? And the 15mm range are rather small (variety wise AND
scale - the latter not being that big a suprise;)). Does any one know
of HMG's figs or likewise that can be used for this. I am a sucker for heavy
weapons teams that looks more than a single soldier with a larger gun...
I am looking into the NAC force so figs with any similarity to those would be
prefered;)
Cheers!
Have you looked at WW-2 or other modern 15mm/20mm miniatures?

Yes - and Don has been really helpful as well in giving ideas for
Peter Pig figures and all. The reason I asked the list was that I thought some
of you might have found proxies and was hoping that you would share what
discoveries you have made:)
Stan Johansen has Mortar team with his 28 mm mercs that might represent
VH Mortars, and tri-pod "Laser Cannon" [same gun in 28 mm is medium,
heavy in 15 mm) representing a support weapon (Old 'infantry gun' concept
with grav plates/sled for mobility?) that might help. Also lots of
'bits' to build with...

Where do I find his miniatures? And don't you think 28mm stuff would be rather
big for 15mm's? I know I said heavy weapons, but if I took a
28mm MG42 - it would be 1Å times higher than a 15mm fig :) (Of course
I could do the Guns of Navarone hehe:)
