What a confession to make.................. Do try FT it is the bees knees (I
was going to say something else there but this is a family mailing
list......). Is this space combat system you use you're own or

is it a commercial product? What figures do you use.

Hi there!

This is my first list group! I finally got the e-mail program working!
I love your web page! I must confess.....I'm not a full thrust player

You see, I have made my own space combat games for years, and full thrust is
the only thing on the web that comes close. (close enough that I have
reverse-
-engineered most of the construction system...just from the ships!) I

have been reading the list archives over on "starship Jockey's" page...I love
this game.

These maps are large enough for my purposes. I think I could convert most of
the FT game (what I have been able to figure out) over to my system, and try
it....I have to find the time! FT only has a few quirks.....It is still a good
game, don't get me wrong. Those quirks will make it harder to set it up
properly in my system.

In my system, the size of the engines are deturmined by the mass and speed of
the ship. The various weapons should be easy to convert.

I am thinking, as soon as I save up enough money, I might order Full Thrust.
My local hobby stores don't carry it. But they are nice about ordering things!

Welcome to the list! By record sheets do you mean record sheets of ships that
look like the ships from these genres, or are you looking for ship designs?
Well, either way my FT WWW page might be able to help. I've got a set of ST
record sheets that might be useful. I also have rules conversions and ship
designs for Trek and B5. The URL is:

        http://www.uwm.edu/~cthulhu/FT/thrust.html

BTW, you might want to wait a couple of days before downloading the ST sheets.
The guy who created them just sent me some updated versions a few weeks ago
and I haven't found the time to upload them just yet.

Greets, Duane,

There are a few people I know personally up in Ft Collins (bit of a drive for
you, though, prolly) who are into FT and play on occassion. One of them I
think is on this list (you out there, Daryl?)

For various genre ship stats and stuff, prolly the best place to look would be
the Unofficial FT Page run by Mark Siefert. The ULR is,..um..., gimme a sec to
bring it up:

        http://www.uwm.edu/~cthulhu/FT/thrust.html

On there are a number of links to other sites of people who have their ideas
on various ship genre designs. Mark, myself, and several other
people have B5 rules/ship designs on there. I guess the best thing to
do is look 'em over, chose what you think feels 'right', and go play!
:-)

Mark's UFTP also has a ton of other links you might poke into here and
there (hey, Ludo, I saw that comment on your page about me ;-) ;-)
