A few weeks ago someone mentioned "Hell in Microcosm" by Jim Webster as
possibly being a good campaing system for DSII.
I mentioned this title at my local hobby shop and drew a blank. Now, the
questions are: 1) did I get the name wrong; 2) is this a new game; or 3) is
this an old game that is out of print?
Can anyone help? Thanks.

No. The name and author are right.

It could be. I'll be soon getting a copy from Australia.

No problem.

It's a very small-press UK game (not certain of the publisher - probably
Anschluss, as they do most of Jim's non-SF stuff?), so this will be why
US stores have never heard of it. I don't know if anyone in the US carries the
line or not.

Defiantly Anschluss. They regularly advertise in Wargames Illustrated, and can
be contacted at
Anschluss Publishing Rivendell Wathern Way Marsham nr Buxton Norfolk NR10 5PZ
No foreign distributes were listed in the adverts.
Hell in Microcosm costs 3.95 UK (as of September 1998) and P+P per tile
is 40p in U.K., 65p in Europe and 1.85 U.K. for the rest of the world.
Hope this helps.

An Australian company, that our gaming group puts a lot of mail orders
through. Unfortunately, I can't remember their details, but I will get them on
the weekend, and check on the order, which I think is still being arranged.
More next time! And, hopefully, I can find some time to do some playtesting in
our group, instead of playing AH's Civilisation.

It's NOT an Australiand company, it's actually an English company. Their
address is:
Essex, Unit 1, Shannon centre, Shannon square, Thames Estuary Estate, Canvey
Island, Essex, S S8 0PE, England.
Hope that helps!
