Except for the sub-thread on different fighter types, this hasn't been
(mostly) my impression of the suggested ideas for addressing the fighter
imbalance. Most of the ideas, taken singly, are reasonably simple.

Combining too many of them could result in an overcomplex mess, yes.

Time to collect them, assess them and do some playtest of the more promising
ones?
