I've forgotten who was after the dropship kits, but it looks like
they've been re-released by Hobbylink, Japan.
Check the following for details, although I'm unsure about reliability,
although as soon as I'm organised, I'll probably order one. It's
retailing for 4500 yen + postage.

Alien(s)(3)(4) - Halcyon's Dropship, Alien3 creature and Alien creature
with egg base are now available again, though only in Japan at the moment.
Tsukuda bought the molds (and hopefully cleaned them up). They
should be exported to the US - but for now, check out Hobbylink Japan to
get one (4500 Yen - about $35 USD).

Well Jon does have a dropship, we just never got it into production here in
the US. We would have to do a redesign to get it into the Urethane plastic we
use, and I've yet to find someone here who could get the job done!

The Halycon Dropship is OK. There is not a whole load of detail in it and if
you want to model the MLRS weapons payloads open they will need a bit of work
as there are no hydraulics etc, otherwise it makes an excellent
dropship. It is around 12-124 inches long by about 4 wide. It is too
small to look like it realistically carries a Galoob M577, however, the GZG
LIPPC is almost perfectly sized to look like it can be carried.

Which brings up an interesting point; on Geo-Hex's site, the above
vehicle
has a listing of 'M38D LIPPC Light APC - will fit in the cargo bay of
our dropship!', but nothing in the other listings refer to a dropship. There
are two VTOL's, and the one with 'pewter wings and weapons systems', the
AV9A2, sounds the most likely, but there's no piccie(I'm starting to REALLY
like that word) on it. Certainly grant you I may not have delved deeply, but
not sure where else to look.
KR, please illuminate. And, if I see you at GenCon, I'll be certain to
remember your name, and probably mis-pronounce. ;->=
Whoops, thought of another?: are the wheels on the LIPPC separately cast?

The "dropship" is our SF25-56 TIT (Tactical Interface Transport) - took
us ages to come up with that acronym....:). In the UK it retails at 19.95
pounds, and is a LOT of resin (about 1 Kg) - assembled, it is 12" long
and 8" wingspan, and the LIPPC (or the Coonhound) fits nicely into the hollow
cargo bay. Geo-Hex don't have this one in production yet, I think
mainly
due to its sheer size - the resin they use is more costly than ours, and
is not quite so good for very large parts.

Yes.

OK so I'm not KR, but...
There is a big dropship in the UK GZG catalogue which I think this refers
to. Check the on-line catalogue I think it has a picture.
The parts of the LIPPC are: body, wheels, turret and gun barrel
(metal).
