Doh, meant to say in the original e-mail. It's made by The Baggage
Train.

The website's claim that you need only "basic modelling skills" is a little
optimistic; getting the thing to stand up was a bit tricky. Couldn't say nice
enough things about the company though, they were very helpful and almost as
fast as GZG with processing the order.

Well, to be fair, I would have read it as 'at least "basic modelling
skills".' ;->=

One sentient being's basic skills is another's 'magic of the gods'. I don't
paint, and even on a dry, warm day, I can't prime figs without bubbles and
pits. And, yes, I try to vary the paint, the timing of the spray, the
distance... *shrug*

I seem to be able to prime larger metal objects. Maybe I need to stick to
1/1 scale.

or white or black spray paints as primers. I do and they provide smooth
paintable surfaces.

I'd never heard of Baggage Train before. They've got some anti-grav
vehicles very reminiscent of the Terran Overlord Government in the Renegade
Legion Universe (Jon Davis, take note!). In fact, I think one of them is
painting in a camouflage pattern very similar to Jon's!

Always good to find a manufacturer making things in the One True Scale, so
thanks a bunch Richard. I might put together a small order to 'test the
waters'.

You should see the miniature cases. Size of a barn and you can only fit 4 of
them in it.

And at $130 a gallon of paint (plus hardener and reducer and the like) it gets
expensive to paint them.

Still, painting details is easy enough.
