Did the Dalek's eventually win that last turn?
What was the final assessment of the Grey's all carrier fleet?

At the end of the 5 turn campaign the Daleks and their allies had defeated the
Grey and their allies.
The Grey all carrier fleet was defeated because the Daleks adapted faster and
built counter ships to beat the Grey attack fighter carriers. The Grey were
slower to adapt and kept going "paper" while the Daleks quickly changed from
rock to scissors.
The strategic lession people took from this is that while micor carriers are
quite good they are very easy to counter and you need another string to your
bow. It is considered quite a good idea to start with an initial build of all
micro carriers and then never build anything else, instead concentrating on
builds that will kill things designed to beat microcarriers.
In the final turn, the UDR captured the Decca homeworld with a sneak attack
with speacialised long range attack frigates. The Decca Home defence fleet
decided that it should go and defend the perimeter world leaving the homeworld
open to attack.
The Decca and the Arachnids defeated the UDR allies retaining the homeworld
they had earlier captured.
In the end the campaign ended with 2 alliances staring at each other accross
the remains of 3 other teams. Quite a good result really.
Even in the campaign the people that were elminated were not eliminated until
quite late in the turn count so had a vital roll to play in determining who
might win.
The Dalek alliance did end up with 2 enemy homeworlds captured and most points
of enemy shipping killed.
