I will be attending (At least Saturday). I'll have my oldest boy with me, and
we're looking to game! Please let me know where to "meet and greet" as this
will be our first time to this Con (I'll have my TMP badge on too).
See you there!
Merde! That snuck up on me!
I only wish I'd see you there; if I didn't have weekend work duty, I'd
struggle the 7+ hr drive down somehow anyway. Either that, or Mage
Con...
Did get in a game of FT last week; I almost remember how it's played, and had
the usual 'oh, gee, that's fun; we'll have to play next time...' I'm trying to
get every other Wed at the shop as 'Fleet' day, and try different
vacchead-or-wet navy games, though FT should dominate. ;->=
TMP has badges?

Oh bother! You would pick the *one* day I wasn't planning on being around the
con... I was planning on being at the con on Friday night and Sunday
afternoon. My Full thrust game is Sunday afternoon 2-6pm.
Will you be in Denver on Friday? I was thinking of trying to hook up with
Scott Field for dinner on Friday night?

No, Friday we drive from Sheridan to Cheyenne (after school/work). As
we will be in Cheyenne for the weekend, the con seemed a good side trip.
Sunday is an outside possibility, but not having to get a room was a motivator
for "she that must be obeyed" (that and getting the guys out from underfoot!)

http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-lHope you guys all
had a good con. I was up in the Collegiate Peaks area
struggling to breathe the rarefied air there. ;-) Scott gave me his
run-down on the con when I saw him just before I left for the East once
again, but that is all I know about it*.

http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-lI was there for
Saturday only. My son went to ConJR and had a blast. I hung out in the
Miniatures Room and played in a couple of Games (Prohibition
Shootout and WW-II Armor). Looks like Friday is a more active day.

It was a good con overall, with record attendance (775 I think they said). I
spent most of my time over on the RPG side of things tho, and missed Mike's FT
game altogether. Sorry...

It was a decent game. The newer fighter rules work much better but I need to
create a table of weapon damage vs fighters to speed up the game. For once the
fighters did something other than attack each other. A large
group of tie fighters did 2 rows (20-30 points I think) of damage to the
Enterprise-D and finished it off. The Ent-D level-2 shields couldn't
hold up to multiple ion cannon (or EMP cannon, same weapon basicly) hits.
The pool of FT players here in Denver has grown large enough that I'm thinking
of spliting my game into a beginners game and an intermediate game.
