Once again, the quest for SSD's has been raised, this time on the FullThrust
Yahoo! group.
After covering many of the usual subjects, my thoughts drifted back to a site
the inestimable Brain had created. Many parts are still ghosted in the wayback
machine, but I wondered if anyone had the original SSD images, which did not
seem to have been archived.
Zoe, are you planning at some point to recreate this treasure and include the
new races designs, besides Feds and Klinks, as you hinted?
Just curious, as you went with a rather different design start (shouldn't
everything start with the Enterprise?) from Dean's, but I'd purely love to see
what you had in mind for Gorns and the others.
Whether, 'here they are' or 'my notes were on paper that is only dust now'
or worse '5 1/4" disks', thanks for what was there.

It won't be soon, I'm immensely busy with my PhD.
Thanks for the kind words.
The Gorn etc Plasma torps would use similar mechanics to the Phalons PBs, but
the Phalon weapons turned a little different from my original proposal.

Hm... I have a copy of a web page from 14 March, 1999, with a number of ship
designs for ST:TOS. Is that the one? I don't have the pages with the weapon
descriptions, but IIRC all of them were copied to Noam's FT weapons archive
which AFAIK is still online.

*ahem* I said I could find most of that on the wayback machine in my
original note. I hate seeing non-reduced strings of notes, but there's a
danger in editing to make user friendly. ;->=
There were a number of 'to be continued' entries in the original site that, I
don't think, and it sounds like Zoe agrees, were ever put up.
Zoe, if it happens, fine, if you don't get same out, I stand by my thanks for
your original work.

I may have to eat my words, at least on the weapons part. It may be more
complete on Noam's page than I thought.
However, I think there were some ship designs implied that I'd love to see
someday.
