Subject: [GZG] [sg2] Snow Speeders

So I'm thinking of a few random Star Wars scenarios that would involve snow
speeders. I like SG2 as an infantry game but vehicles tend to go down a tad
too easily. I was thinking about running them as a standard infantry squad
with the following rules:

(1) Base movement 12". They can move two actions for up to 24" of movement per
turn. Would 18" be too much?

(2) They'll have 3x/2x armor depending on facing.

(3) Being treated like infantry they can be shot at and pinned by infantry
weapons, support weapons, etc.

(4) They must always move forward at least one action worth of movement.

(5) They gain suppressions but can remove them for free for one action. This
represents the jinking from incoming fire. So if they take fire in the
previous turn the next turn they'll basically be moving 12" and that's it.

(6) If an attacker should manage to more than double the armor roll the snow
speeder spirals into the ground in an appropriately cinematic fashion.
