I want some heavy weapons teams for my 25mm NSL troops (armoured ones, not
jaegers).
I've got some of those 15mm guns that were recently released, and I know there
is a jaeger mortar group. And I can probably talk Jon into getting me some
mortars without jaeger crew.
What would be suitable figures to kitbash as crew for these weapons? As far as
I know I just have some figs(somewhere hidden deep in a box)
standing/walking and shooting regular guns.

The most obvious options would be
SGN-16A
Female NSL Trooper kneeling. with Laser designator
SGN-17B
NSL Comms/EW specialist with Laptop keypad. kneeling.
And for kitbashing, the arm with the missile launcher is a separate piece on
these two, so if you can trim the launcher away or sculpt an alternative arm
you should be able to make weapons crew figures.

I think all the other troops have their weapons sculpted close to their
bodies making conversion rather difficult.
I went through the small(cough) box where I knew the stargrunt figures
should be and I found a few(cough):-)

I think that with of luck (and some patience with green stuff) the advancing
one could be given a case of ammo and the other could be made into a figure
inserting a piece of ammo.
