Too bad; if I'd have known there was a possibility, I would have come down
with my SO visiting her family at the end of the month, and tried for one
then. ;->=
I've seen FL in the August; bit TOO much of a good thing.
Someday, I'm going down and rent a room in KC, and just declare an UCC
(Un-Coast). I've been doing plenty of pushing ships around by myself of
late; at least it'd be a change of scenery.

http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-lHah, my girlfriend
is a native. She will not run the house or car AC in the summer and she gets
annoyed when I roll a window down because it messes up her hair.

Not to mention the fact it's in hurricane season. So much for avoiding bad
weather. *S*
I'd personally prefer something a little easier to get to than Florida.
Something in Georgia through Texas would be easier for me.
Maybe if there was someone in Huntsville; having a sci-fi game
convention in the home of Space Camp would be interesting...
I'm in Mobile, Alabama and I would love for there to be a regional gathering
in this neck of the woods. I'd even volunteer for the staff.
