Ok, so I'm looking through the ORG and Equip at the end of SG II, and
saw that the Phalanx Hvy APC has "2x DFFG/1 (gatling type)".
Sooo.....what are the stats for a "gatling type" DFFG/1 and what are the
capacity points for it, since that type doesn't seem to be listed anywhere
with the pertinent info? Also are there other "gatling types avail? And what
are their cap points? (eg. Does it have 6 barrels, 3 barrels, how many dice
are rolled for it to be used, or does it change Imp Value, cap points modified
or what....)
It's not just fluff?!?

I always thought that was just Fluff so the weapon on the mini would
match the specs given in the book. :-)
Would love to know if I have been wrong all this time.

No, that's exactly right - the model has a short stubby weapon with
three holes in the end, so the "gatling" description just seemed to fit. For
game purposes it's treated exactly as for any other DFFG.
;-)

Now, I wonder what DFFG stands for... ;->=

I was just teasing; however, I'll admit, in most questions gropo, I'm
clueless.
Never hurts to err on the side of assuming my ignorance. There, see? I almost
spelled it 'ignorace'.

Well, no-one ever asked (or maybe no-one noticed) why one of the
weapon options on the new 15mm Cougar MBT was listed as a "B"FFG.....
Which, of course, stands for "Big F***ing Fusion Gun"..... ;-)

Damn, that's what we get for assuming typos. You DID warn us about them in
FTII. ;->=

Seems to imply there's an Indirect Fire Fusion Artillery around.

It was partly because DFFG sounded a cool acronym, but partly because
yes, you're right - there are fusion warheads, they're called Tac
Nukes..... ;-)
Hmm I was thinking it could be named after Damned Fast Firing Guns..

I think I am just too used to id games. They have never
bothered with the "Fusion" qualifier though ;-)

Why would I need to ask when I'd already figured it out? 8-)
