tell long range fire suppresses, but close assaults decide battles. As far as
I am concerned a close assault is the only way to remove an entrenched enemy.

I'd have to check, but does a suppressed squad get fire if the assaulting
squad fails its' movement roll?

A second thought on that, I'd always thought if what caused the suppression
was vaporized or otherwise made to go away the suppression should be lifted
immediately if the suppressed unit can see that happen from their position,
i.e. you see the tank that had you eat a missile. Your not only no longer
suppressed your down right euphoric.
