I just re-bought Full Thrust (lost FT, MT FB1, FB2, & SG2 in a move.
Really PISSED me off!) and was wondering where Jon might be taking GZG in the
future.
Is there going to be a FT3? If so - any idea when? I like the Fleet
books (although I still like the firing arcs from FT & MT more... Less
confusion).
Is a new Dirtside going to come out? Or should I be scrounging Ebay for a
copy?
StarGrunt2 isn't going to disappear into the out-of-print black hole
like DS and MT is it?
What's new on the horizon for all us GZG gaming fanatics out here in the
world?
Thanks all,

Patience, Grasshopper.... you will attain Nirvana.

That I doubt highly....

An odd mushroom-shaped glow.....

Nothing official, but you figure you can expect to see Fleet Book 3
(stats for IJN, UN, IF and such--the minis exist, gotta have stats for
them), FT3 (consolidating the rules from FT through FB2 and fixing some known
problems), FMA Skirmish, DirtSide 3, and Bugs Dont Surf
(aliens supplement for SG). SG2 seems to be going pretty strong--it's
popular at ECC, for instance--so I'd expect it'll stay in print for
quite a while; on the other hand, this sort of thing always takes longer than
you'd like, so if you plan to play DS in the near future you'd better look at
Ebay.
All of the above is subject to the "not necessarily in that order" and "no
specific dates"
Brian B,
<said in a joking voice> Thank you for those highly informative comments to my
serious questions.
<serious> Thanks! I needed a good laugh this morning!

Hi Warren,
Yes, Brian's answers raised a smile here too! ;-)
Laserlight's answer was actually pretty close - all the things he
mentioned are kind of somewhere in the "must do before hell freezes over"
list. I wish we could bring out paper products more often than we do, but
there's still only two of us and we're kept fairly busy with making and
selling the miniatures, which is our main source of business. Rest assured
that SGII won't disappear anytime soon, and hopefully we'll have an SGIII
version ready for when SGII finally goes OOP. Realistically, FT3 and FMA
Skirmish are the most likely candidates to see print first as things stand at
the moment.
Best,
Glad I could help. In all seriousness myself,
Laserlight's response was very well-presented, and
pretty close to what I'd have said if I hadn't been burnt out from work and
ready to go home.

<grin> The only major thing I left out was the schedule. Jon will promise to
get it done soon, if you promise not to ask what "soon" means in geological
terms.

I may have missed someone else posting it, but don't forget that MT can be
downloaded from the GZG store:
