I'm looking for 25mm Victorian SF figures -- preferably armed with
advanced weapons such as the Electro-Galvanic Discharger, Backpack
Maxim Gun (not the sort that spits out slips of paper that say things
like "a penny saved is a penny earned"--the other sort), or Martian
Death Ray. Suggestions?

I thought Eureka was always the first place to look; Jon, have you stopped
carrying most of what you had of their lines?

Look under Parroom Station, but I can't seem to find what you seek.

Course, just about any thing Evil Empire(tm) or Warzone is big and arcanely
futuristic. Grind off a few skulls and pointy bits, paint somber and 'dirty'
instead of cartoony, and you might have something.

Several of the old Deadlands figs would work well; can't give you specifics.
OOP, but do crop up.

Aren't some of Jeff Vallent's(sp?) in this vein?

So the sort that spits out the men magazine is right out?

I suppose you weren't fantasizing one for swank Parisian eateries, either...

Depends on whether Jon is coming to ECC this year, I suppose...

The Impervious Suit with Electro-Galvanic Lightning Discharge gun is
probably what you're after.. But there's something to be said for the
Kreigshosen Clockwork War Pants, with mortar.

Personally, I like having some air support, via Jaeger mit
Whirlenkriegenfleigen. Others like artillery, such as the Tricycle
Triumphapede heavy mounted artillery "The Thunderer"

These are going to be for Wailing Ewe-tani's corportate
Troubleshooters. "Impervious" is an excellent description of what
they will not in any way be. Well armed, yes--well armored, no. After
all, the *other* Troubleshooters have to be able to deal with them,
just in case of the possibility--vanishingly remote, I grant--that a
Troubleshooter might himself be a traitor.

"Achmed's trinket stall" is, however, pretty much guaranteed to be appearing
next ECC, and some other of Nic's Vics may be there as well. Parhoon and
Brigade's Gaslight also look pretty good.
