Just thought you might like to know that the free FT ship packets for
service personnel out in Iraq/Afghanistan went off in the mail last
Friday! We held the offer open for a good while longer than we originally
planned, as the response was not as fast as we'd hoped for and we
wanted to give everyone a chance to get applications in - but in the
end, we were able to send out NINE packages rather than the original six we
planned, thanks to a couple of very generous people who added their own
donations to the ones we had promised. We were also able to include a few dice
with each set, thanks to the kind donation of some free D6 by Dice and Games,
our regular dice supplier. Only two packets went to BFPO addresses (because
that's all the applications we received from them), while the other seven went
to APO; though we were happy to take applications from Canadian and any other
personnel serving out there, we didn't actually get any applications from them
in the end. So they're on their way, hopefully they will arrive over the next
few
days/weeks and the recipients will enjoy them! :-)

Best,

Thanks for the update, Jon!

I'm sure anyone that asked will be well pleased.

I'd have sent you a Canuck, 'cept his tour starts in Nov '08 and goes to July
'09. So he ain't over there yet.

The thought is most appreciated.
