While we're on the subject of conventions, who all is going to GenCon next
month in Indianapolis?

I'll be there running some FT games. A couple introductory games of FT Lite on
Thursday night and then on Friday a couple sessions of the latest chapter
in my Sci-Fi Crossover saga. This year a Borg Cube attacks the Babylon
5 universe, similar to the battle of Wolf 359. I think there will be enough
surprises that both sides should have lots of fun.

Former lister Mike Miserendino will be there and on Saturday will be a
couple sessions of his Mega-Scale Battlestar Galactica game using the
large plastic models of the Battlestars and BaseStars for a massive game. I'll
probably be helping out with these games too.

There will also be a few other FT games going on and someone is running a
couple sessions of a Dirtside game.

I'll have to run by the miniatures area and see some GZG folks, then!

I'm running four sessions of This Favored Land. This is the
roleplaying supplement I wrote for Arc Dream's _Wild Talents_ RPG.
With some luck, it will be published in time for GenCon. All my games, except
Sunday's, are from 1 to 5, so I'll have evenings and mornings free to do
something else.

We should be around in the evenings, 2nd floor just east of the dealers hall,
in the hallways outside of Rooms 211 (Thurs and Fri) or 212 (Sat). Just look
for the M Collective banner.

Allan, have you been to a GenCon in Indianapolis? It was a long time ago that
I used your Revlon fleet in a list game back in Milwaukee.

And Indy, yes I will be taking pictures plus I should have SSDs up for my
Sci-Fi Crossover game including the Borg Cube and all associated rules
(the
Borg will be using a highly modified set of Sa-Vasku rules and get a
single mass 1400 cube).

And for those of you who remember Schoon (Sean Schoonmaker) from this list, he
is also supposed to be attending GenCon. He was there last year too but I
never ran into him.

The Revlon Sathar? I've still got them somewhere!

I sure hope I get to see those in action!

I think I e-mailed him at the time, hoping I'd see him, but never ran
into him, either. It was good to see you and Mike looking well!

not you, Doug :-) )

Phil, who wisehes he could go to cons like that, but all the US ones are

scheduled at inconvenient times of the year...

Actually, it's a Civil War supplement for a modern era superhero RPG (Wild
Talents) that was an expansion from a WWII superhero RPG (Godlike).

WT is more of a generic superhero system, particularly in 2nd edition, for
which my supplement was written. 1st edition was only available as a limited
run of 1,000 copies through the internet. 2nd edition, and my supplement
(along with two other supplements) will be available at your Friendly Local
Game Store.

I'll do that! My games are all 1 to 5, so I have the evenings free. Arc Dream
Publishing bought my GM badge, so I haven't had the chance
to pre-reg for any games. I'm just going to wander around and see what
I can get myself into.

Sure, we are in the Westin, just a skyway across from the convention center.

I'll probably place a 12 inch Playmates Sound and Lights Borg Cubes on the
table for effect to get everyone's attention that first turn, and after that,
use a Johnny Lightning toy cube (2 inch cube) for the actual game.
