Tip is left white for a salvo missile, painted red for a normal heavy missile, green for a needle missile, blue for ECM,and so forth. If you have a hard surface you can stand them vertically; if you're playing on the carpet, just lay tehm down and use the tip to mark the actual location

The individual missiles from an SM salvo are smaller than fighters; Heavy Missiles are a bit larger than most fighters. Regards,

Usually just a d6; has the look of a swarm, and don't have the possibility of lasting more than a turn, which fighters do. That said, I've also played with the idea of using a die for a fighter squadron.
