I would like to hear how some of you represent a FT missile salvo on your
table top. Photos would be nice too. How big is a missile from a salvo
supposed to be compared to a fighter?

Missiles are white golf tees. Tip is left white for a salvo missile, painted
red for a normal heavy missile, green for a needle missile, blue for ECM,and
so forth. If you have a hard surface you can stand them vertically; if you're
playing on the carpet, just lay tehm down and use the tip to mark the actual
location

We usually use Silent Death counters (for SMs) or missile models (for
HMs).

The individual missiles from an SM salvo are smaller than fighters; Heavy
Missiles are a bit larger than most fighters.
Regards,
Usually just a d6; has the look of a swarm, and don't have the possibility of
lasting more than a turn, which fighters do.
That said, I've also played with the idea of using a die for a fighter
squadron. I've some large dice with hearts and pine trees that look a bit
like space fighters... if you squint. ;->=
